So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32 We believe The bible as originally given, is the inspired, inerrant, written Word of God. This word is packed full of the truth that, made alive by the Holy Spirit, is our final authority and empowers us with wisdom for living. When approached in part, or in error, the bible can be contorted to endorse a religious, powerless expression of faith, which leaves people lifeless. However when the Holy Spirit breathes on the Word, it infuses the Christian with healthy doctrine, that opens up the life and possibilities of the Kingdom of God. We eagerly seek to explore the potential of the Scriptures, to ask the questions about traditional approaches to church and discipleship, to be grounded in our position in Christ, to experience the power of God.
