Kensington Temple is an internationally renowned church, founded by Revivalist George Jeffries. Since that time Wynne Lewis and currently, Colin Dye have served as the Senior Ministers. KT is a cell based church with a reputation for world class doctrinal teaching and openness to the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Salvations, signs, wonders and miracles are part of regular experience, expressing our core belief that Jesus and his gospel are relevant to His church today. KT is part of the Elim Pentecostal Churches of Great Britain, of which Colin is a national leader.
Cell Vision
There’s nothing quite as exciting as forming disciples, and watching them grow in their character, calling and gifts for Jesus’ glory. This vital work is carried out in the cells. Jesus Himself chose 12 men whom He mentored, shaped and released to take the gospel to the four corners of the earth. We have adopted this model of discipleship and mentoring to ensure that every church member grows to their full potential.
Through weekly meetings, each member of the church is taught in biblical doctrine applied practically, and given the opportunity to question and develop a deeper understanding of their faith. They train in our Leadership Training School on a weekly basis. And most importantly they are formed into disciples of Christ through a series of divine friendships with other cell members, the cell leader and within the church. Each member carries the potential of leadership – whether it is the leading of 1 or 100, and we seek to release that potential so that each disciple follows and works with the great commission to “GO therefore and make disciples of all the nations”.
