Jesus chose 12 disciples, trained them and sent them out to fulfil the 'Great Commission' to “Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations”. Disciples then became disciple-makers. The ‘Master’s way’ of training still remains the best form of discipleship and leadership. This lies at the heart of the KT vision and The International Bible Institute of London (IBIOL).

Many years ago, God gave me a dream - a vision of His greatness, manifesting Himself in power through His people. That has become my greatest dream - a fully mobilised church carrying the manifestation of God Himself. This is also God’s dream - indeed His very plan and purpose - for the Church, the Body of Christ.

When I looked at training for the work of the ministry nearly twenty years ago, I realised that there was very little practical church-based training available. Usually a member of a church who wanted intensive full-time training would have to uproot themselves from their local church and attend a seminary or para-church training course. These seminaries and courses were often far removed from the local vision that inspired them to train in the first place. The Holy Spirit encouraged me to ‘Prepare God’s People for Ministry’ and I founded the International Bible Institute of London (IBIOL) in 1985 with that purpose in mind. Since then thousands of people have passed through one or more of our courses and hundreds are serving God as pastors, missionaries and Christian workers all around the world.

Kensington Temple has transitioned into a cell church. In less than three years we now have more than 11,000 people in cells across London. We are involved in a ’mobilisation’ revolution. The fundamental four-fold philosophy upon which I founded IBIOL in 1985, is:


• Priority of personal discipleship and leadership
• Passion for evangelism
• A world vision
• Hunger for the ministry of the Holy Spirit and power


I challenge you to take the 'Great Commission' seriously and train here at the IBIOL to become the most effective minister you can be.
